Your happiness begins with you and no one else. Its a choice that you make everyday and stick by it.You glow more when you are happy. We all face difficult times in life. Don’t we? But, its upto us to decide whether a situation will make us or break us. Just remember few things you should avoid to become a better version of yourself.

1. Mental Inequilibrium

Stop being overjoyed when you achieve what you have always wanted or be extremely sad when you fail.Extreme state of happiness will create imbalance.Learn to be happy and content from within. Don’t express your joy to everyone because if you are truly happy you need not say it aloud that will reflect in you and your actions. Similarly, don’t let melancholy hit you when you fail. Correct your behaviour and maintain equlibrium.

2. Envy

Stop getting sad on seeing other persons happiness. You start gossiping and lose your sleep over it.Oh!that person is doing well in his career, that person got engaged/married, has a good family. Leave this thought pattern and be human enough to look at his share of struggles.

3. Ego

Ego stops you from admitting your mistakes and forgiving people. Ego stops you from correcting your course when you go astray. A wise person corrects his behaviour and is willing to be receptive and kind. Control or restraint your ego. Be humble and willing to listen. Learn the abilty to connect with people. Remember ‘God resist the proud but gives grace to the humble.’

4.Stress

Stress is inevitable. But remember stress wont lead you anywhere. So try to minimise your stress levels. Things wont work out magically by stressing but a calmer mind can bring a lot of solutions. There are times when you might get stressed and act in a weird way or behave strangely. Take a break and relax. Obviously you can’t avoid the issue at hand and avoidance is never the approach. Face the challenges with a calmer mind. Be a winner not a Quitter.

5. Deferring Happiness

Stop deferring happiness and stop saying I’ll be happy when…?We hear a lot of people saying that I will be happy when I buy that thing. I’ll be happy when I can be as rich as him. I’ll be happy when I get that job. I’ll be happy only if I get admission in so and so college. These are all illusions…learn to be happy in the moment and not in anticipation of what is yet to come.

STAY HAPPY. PRACTICE GOOD KARMA. AMIDST ALL UNCERTAINITY, FIND THAT RAY OF HOPE. BE LOVING AND COMPASSIONATE. LIKE AND COMMENT IF YOU LIKE THE BLOG.
